Chinese New Year
We gathered together with my husband's family to celebrate the Year of the Dragon with a Chinese feast in Eastwood. I ate the yummiest scallop ever and we were very generously given red pockets (even though we are married)!

Lazy long weekend
This cold and wet Queen's birthday weekend we are hanging around at home while Ad studies for his exams. It sounds a bit boring but I am loving the thought of an easy, cosy and relaxing three days.
This morning we started the weekend off with some yummy croissants, strawberries, a cup of tea and the paper. Tonight we are going to try to whip up one of Jamie Oliver's 30 Minute Meals. Wish us luck somehow I don't think we'll have it all ready in 30 minutes!

My most memorable meal
Ad and I love to eat good food and had some amazing meals on our trip. Asparagus in Helsinki, Ravioli in Florence, Mexican in London and Dumplings we made in Mongolia. I may tell you all about them sometime. But my most memorable meal was on the train in Russia.
