Rediscovering

We have been in a haze of unpacking our belongings that have been in boxes for a year and a half. It has been lovely rediscovering our gorgeous things, admiring their beauty and remembering the stories behind them.

Rainy move

Please stop the rain! We have lots of moving to do over the next few days and the torrential rain that doesn't appear to be slowing may hamper our progress.

A house

Very soon my husband and I will be house-sitting the most beautiful home for an extended period of time. We move in in a few weeks!

Lazy long weekend

This cold and wet Queen's birthday weekend we are hanging around at home while Ad studies for his exams. It sounds a bit boring but I am loving the thought of an easy, cosy and relaxing three days. 

This morning we started the weekend off with some yummy croissants, strawberries, a cup of tea and the paper. Tonight we are going to try to whip up one of Jamie Oliver's 30 Minute Meals. Wish us luck somehow I don't think we'll have it all ready in 30 minutes!
