In the past few weeks I have been fortunate enough to see three movies!
The King's Speech was fantastic, amusing, beautiful and interesting. Two of my favourite male actors, Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth both shone! It's a gorgeous tale about equality and friendship.
Then with a couple of girlfriends I saw Black Swan. A very intense and disturbing film as a ballet dancer pushed by those closest to her descends into the darkness of a crazed mind. It is also beautiful and Natalie Portman deserves her Golden Globe for her powerful performance of morphing into the black swan.
For a change of pace I finally saw The Social Network. It was a good American movie that gave an insight into the establishment of facebook and the people behind it. Not sure that it would have been my choice for Best Drama at the Golden Globes but it definitely was entertaining.
Now I would love to see Blue Valentine...

Squirrel Sunday
I have a collection of squirrel objects and have decided to share them with you on Sundays. My squirrel collection has evolved over time. I am very select and don't collect just any squirrel, they must have personality, be a little bit quirky and beautifully made.
The first squirrel I am sharing is very new as it was a Christmas gift from my Mum, it is a beautiful brooch. I love the old fashioned etched-like image which is on a light weight plastic that looks like light blond timber. The squirrels half smile is cute and fun. I wore it for the first time just the other day on a bright green top and it looked fabulous!
